Clinic Owner & Physical Therapist

Neha Pathak, PT, MSPT, is a Clinic Owner and Physical Therapist at Care Spine & Sports, where she combines more than a decade of clinical experience with a commitment to creating a welcoming, compassionate, and patient-focused rehabilitation environment.

As a clinician, Neha believes that successful physical therapy begins with listening. She takes time to understand how pain, injury, weakness, or limited mobility affects each patient’s everyday life and develops treatment plans around the activities that are most important to them. Her goal is to help patients regain confidence, movement, independence, and meaningful function.

From Mumbai to California

Neha began her physical therapy education in India and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Mumbai in 2012. She then continued her advanced education in the United States at Loma Linda University in California, where she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) in 2014.

Training in both India and the United States helped shape the adaptable, individualized approach she brings to rehabilitation and patient care today.

A Personal Approach to Physical Therapy

Throughout her career, Neha has worked with individuals of different ages and functional abilities, from patients seeking to return to work or recreational activities to older adults working to remain mobile and independent. Her clinical interests include orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, neck and back pain, shoulder and knee dysfunction, post-surgical rehabilitation, weakness, balance and mobility limitations, motor vehicle accident injuries, and work-related conditions.

Rather than using the same treatment approach for every patient, Neha emphasizes progressive, goal-oriented rehabilitation. Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, hands-on techniques, neuromuscular and balance training, functional activities, mobility work, and patient education based on the individual’s presentation and goals.

Pelvic Floor & Women's Health Rehabilitation

When clinically appropriate and within the patient’s plan of care, rehabilitation may incorporate pelvic floor muscle training, core stabilization, breathing and pressure-management strategies, postural and movement training, hip and lumbopelvic strengthening, mobility exercises, and patient education. Her goal is to help patients improve pelvic floor function, core control, confidence with movement, and participation in everyday activities.

Neha has a clinical interest in pelvic floor and women’s health physical therapy, providing individualized rehabilitation for patients experiencing pelvic floor weakness and related functional limitations. Her approach emphasizes patient comfort, privacy, education, and treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

Building the Care Spine & Sports Experience

Working alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other healthcare professionals allows the Care Spine & Sports team to provide coordinated care when clinically appropriate while keeping the individual patient at the center of the treatment process.

Neha’s role extends beyond the treatment room. As a Clinic Owner of Care Spine & Sports, she is actively involved in creating a healthcare environment that is professional and organized while remaining personal and approachable. She places particular importance on the patient experience, communication, continuity of care, and collaboration among providers.

Philosophy of Care

Neha believes rehabilitation should translate into real-life improvements – whether that means walking farther, climbing stairs with greater confidence, returning to work, caring for family, exercising again, or moving through the day with greater ease. She emphasizes functional goals and encourages patients to become active participants in their recovery through education, movement, and consistent communication with their rehabilitation team.
